Ruby red with notes of plum, and cherry on the nose. The wine is well structured with high acidty, it will benefit from some time in the bottle. Look for flavors of sour cherry and tabbaco on the palate.
A blend of Barbere, Sangiovese and Grenache, this wine exudes citrus, melon, papaya and spice aromas followed by pear and mineral flavors.
Sourced from a single vineyard in Dry Creek, Sonoma County. Look for citrus, stone fruit and green apple notes on the nose. The wine is crisp and refreshing with flavors lemon curd and peaches on the palate. Drink now till 2022. Less than 100 cases produced.
Serraglio is a blend of Sangiovese, Barbera and Montepulciano, look for notes of rosemary cranberry and hazelnuts on the nose, the wine is rich and juicy with flavors of coffee, candied fruit and cranberry sauce. 5-10 years. Limited Release 25 cases produced!
Sourced from vineyards in sonoma county and fermented 30% whole cluster. Look for notes of roasted meat, blackberry, blakc olive and spices in this rich full bodied red.
Sourced from and single vineyard in San Benito county and fermented 100% whole cluster. Look for cherry licorice and roses on the nose, followed by firm yet silky sweet tannins, leather, kirshvaser and cloves on the palate.
Besomim is our semi-annual ragtag bunch of misfits, the current manifestation is a blend of Mission, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah, aged for 18 months in neutral oak. Garnet colored, with aromas of cherry, and vanilla. The wine is medium to full bodied, the tannins are soft and rich, look for flavors of plum and caramel . Drink now through 2025
Hand picked from 130 year old head pruned vines in the sandy soils of the Contra Costa. This is a jammy rich fruit bomb with loads of cherry, plum and chocolate on the palate. This wine is not dry and has residual sugar on the finish, and very high alcohol. For those looking for balance and an old world elegance best look elsewhere.
The 2016 Hajdu Proprietary Red, Napa Valley is a blend of Bordeaux varietals sourced from hillside vineyards in Napa Valley. The 2016 is inky and structured with notes of black current, and wild herbs. Rich and structured with flavors of blue fruit, graphite and cedar.
This inky wine is layered with blue fruits, camphor, forest floor and lilac. The tannins are firm and structured. Look for flavors of blueberries, black currants, dark chocolate, earth and herbs
